I’ve performed the server merging as outlined on the EQPlayers site. Sorry for the delay in getting these done.
Also, if there is adjustments or additions that need to be made to the bosses/zones please let me know.
Thanks!
Avatars United Application Released
by Xxav on August 12, 2009, 11:23 am, under EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Site Updates, World of Warcraft
I’m proud to finally announce the release of an Avatars United application that will allow you to add guild progress information to your Avatars United profile. What is Avatars United? It is basically Facebook for gamers:
Avatars United (AU) is a community for your virtual avatars. Register your avatar, upload your profile picture, write your biography and share some of your exploits in virtual worlds through pictures, videos and blogs.
You can learn more about their site and goals through this link. It is a really cool site and I encourage everyone to check it out!
If you do find yourself signing up and creating a profile, don’t forget to install the guildprogress.com application. It is available in WoW, EQ, and EQ2 flavors. You can find them in the applications directory. Using data from guildprogress.com, you can show off your guild’s recent PvE accomplishments on your profile page and provide a more in depth look on the application page. You may also configure the application to automatically post to your activity feed when your guild defeats new bosses or completes new achievements or also when your guild moves up in rank. This is just an initial release and I hope to do a lot more with it in the near future. You can check out my avatar’s WoW guildprogress.com application by clicking here.
I hope you all enjoy it and feel free to unite with me after you sign up!
Boss and Zone Progression Corrections
by Xxav on June 16, 2009, 12:27 am, under EverQuest, EverQuest 2
I’ve received a few emails regarding missing bosses and/or zones from the EQ and EQ2 portions of the site. I will admit that I no longer play these games and may be out of the loop in terms of raid progression. In the past I have scoured the web looking for clues as to what bosses and zones make up the PvE progression but this information tends to be hard to find or has discrepencies.
Getting to the point, I am asking for visitors to post here with any suggetions, corrections, or mistakes they may find in regards to PvE progression in EQ and EQ2. Thanks a lot for your help!
Additional Badge Layouts Added
by Xxav on June 16, 2009, 12:21 am, under EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Site Updates, World of Warcraft
I’ve finally gotten around to adding a few more options for the guild badges. You are now able to choose a tall or wide badge in addition to the small square badge. These new badge sizes include two eras worth of stats. You can build them using the “Build Guild Badge” link in the guild sidebar. If you run into any problems or have any suggestions, don’t hesitate to comment here!
I am also interested in hearing what new features you would like to have added to the site. Please drop me a note here or use the contact button at the bottom of the site. Thanks for visiting!
Major Update to Data Collecting
by Xxav on March 11, 2009, 5:47 pm, under EverQuest, EverQuest 2
Due to the inaccuracies involved in automatically collecting data from the EQPlayers/EQ2Players site we are no longer automatically adding kills. However, we will still be automatically collecting guild names. Now for the good news…
We revamped our manual kill submission process to allow players to modify existing kills. If there is a kill with an incorrect date, simply resubmit it and it will overwrite the old one.
We also have begun removing kills that have received too many thumbs down. These kills will reappear on the verification page.
Please remember that any kill that is submitted must be verified by at least one other user before it will be placed into the database. You may view unverified kills here.
Our ultimate goal with this transition is to provide more accurate information. Should you have any questions or comments regarding this new process please do not hesitate to contact us! Thanks for visiting!
