Crawler Status

Hi All,
I’ve been away from the computer the past week. I should point out that only Cataclysm content is being recorded in the new crawler. Are you guys seeing issues where that content isn’t being updated?
The good news is that I ran it unattended all week and nothing blew up. The bad news is, as some have pointed out, is that it is not that fast.
Ideally, I will release a public version but I need to see how that all factors into the daily limits that Blizzard imposes on the API.
Thanks for all your comments on the crawler. I will be spending some time this week digging into these issues and hopefully I’ll have an update soon. Please continue to post feedback on any issues you are having.
UPDATE 1: I identified and fixed a bug where bosses that are tracked using an achievement’s criteria were not being recorded. Also, I have just forced a recrawl of all guilds crawled this past week.

It seems to be working now. Our 3 kills have been registered and shows correctly. However the problem I see is guild with Firelands kills haven’t got any points for it. Because guilds with no Firelands bosses killed are ranked higher. Witch doesn’t really compute for me.

The update seems to have fixed a lot, but not quite everything. I see 3 guilds (so far) on my server, that didn’t have their Ragnaros normal mode kills counted, after I just queued them, but the kill does show up in their guild achievements.

I’ve found an issue where the Blizzard API seems to be missing data for certain achievement criteria. This is causing the issues with normal boss kills to not be recorded correctly. I’ve contacted Blizzard and will let you guys know when I know more. Thanks for your help!

Hey I’ve updated my guild a couple of times but it doesn’t seem to update Nef and Cho’gal kills, and I’ve verified that we do have the achievement. Sargeras xLR ty

Just got word from Blizzard that they may have a bug on their end that is causing some of the achievement data to be missing. This explains why some kills aren’t being recorded correctly. I’ll let you know when I know more!

problem doesnt seem to be fixed yet ; normal al akir kill still hasnt shown up for my guild , while we have the guild achiev .

and that was ancient justice guild on EU ghostlands btw . forgot to mention
